All these systems are configured with 512 MB of ECC SDRAM, a high-end graphics system (which is not the highest performance system available for the more expensive platforms), and approximately 20 GB of disk. Many factors are responsible for the wide variation in price despite this common elements. First, the systems offer different levels of expandability (with the Prescario system being the least expandable, the Dell systems and Sunblade 100 being moderately expandable, nd the HP, IBM, and Sunblade 1000 being very flexible and expandable).
